Tehran, Bavaria seek expansion of ties in post-JCPOA

TEHRAN- The CEO of Bavarian Industry Association Bertram Brossardt informed that Tehran and Bavaria are fond of developing their trade ties after the implementation of JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action which lifted sanction against Iran in January 2016), IRNA reported on Monday.

Making the remarks in the Business Forum between Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (TCCIMA) and Bavarian Trade and Industries Delegation in Tehran, Brossardt said that exports of Bavaria to Tehran has increases 35 percent in post-sanctions era and rising imports from Iran is being negotiated.

“Undergoing talks between Tehran and Bavaria pivot around increasing cooperation between their companies,” he added.
As Mehr news agency quoted Bahman Eshqi, the secretary-general of TCCIMA, Iranian and German officials have made several trips to each other’s countries, which shows their tendency towards increasing the level of partnership between the two sides.
